Martha Lancaster
Originally from Memphis, TN, Martha has resided in Colorado Springs, CO since 1978. She works predominantly in watercolor and some oils and is an award-winning artist.
She has won several awards at Victor Celebrates the Arts.
After graduating from Pikes Peak Community College with a degree in Commercial Art, her career as graphic designer spanned some 30 years. Upon retiring, she took up painting full time and studied under several great teachers: Thomas J. Owen, Lorraine Watry, Sterling Edwards, Randy Hale, Eric Fetsch, Shelby Keefe and Lian Quan Zhen.
“I enjoy painting landscapes and nature with strong lighting and vivid colors. I love the outdoors and want to share God’s Gracious Gifts of nature with those people who can’t go out and see what I see.”
